We are only a week away from this years Northwest Bronco Roundup! We want to thank each and everyone of you for pre-registering your Bronco and we can’t wait to see you and your Bronco in Florence. But before we get to enjoy the lovely dunes that Florence has to offer we need to cover a few things.
- There is going to be over 150 Broncos running around the Florence area. When you are at the coast enjoying yourself please remember- You are representing the whole group with your actions. So please obey all traffic laws. Drive like you would in front of your grandmother’s house. Especially when driving in Jessie M. Honeyman State Park. Idle speeds please. Be respectful of all the other people enjoying and living in the area. The actions of one can ruin the EVENT. No burnouts or hot rodding on the high way and streets. If you want to show off your horsepower please do it on the sand. Let’s make a great impression on the folks of Florence. – Thank you Jim Shrum for writing this on our Facebook group page. We couldn’t have said it any better!
- Part of the week of fun & festivities that often gets overlooked is the food drive held during the car show. We send canned food to the local food bank Florence Food Share Program. Please don’t forget to help us support this great organization. Every year when I take our collection of food to their store, I see row after row of empty shelves. August is one of the most needy time of year, when families are locked between paying the bills or gearing up for the school year. These families turn to the Food Share program for their basic needs and the food bank turns to people like us to help them fill this need. Please remember to help us give back to this community that has supported our event throughout the years. For a list of items Florence Food Share Program is in need of please go here: http://www.florencefoodshare.org/donate.html
P.S. – Bringing canned food awards you 1 raffle ticket. And if you bring a CRAPLOAD of canned food you will get 2 raffle tickets
