Each year, the Florence Food Share distributes approximately 800,000 pounds of food, serving an estimated 3000 members of the community. The NWBR is proud to help them collect donations at our event.
Since partnering with Florence Food Share in 2011, attendees of the NWBR have helped them collect 52,362 lbs of food. In 2024, we donated 5550 pounds of food, and this year we need your help to top it!
Food Drive
Car Wash & Can Collection
Our donation-based car wash is back! In the past, we have partnered
with the Suislaw High School Viking Cheer Team to raise funds that helped to contribute to uniforms, gear, and competition fees.
This year we are partnering with Sea Cadets of Florence, where all donations raised will remain within the program and directly contribute to Summer & Winter training course fees, and survival gear for the unit. Cadets will be accepting donations of either cash and/or cans & bottles. They will also roll through Honeyman Campground a couple times during the event to collect cans right from your campsite. We'll announce dates on Facebook.
